Operational
Innovations

Analytic Data Architecture (USMS)

Design and execute plan to create analytic data architecture for use by the Investigative Operations Division, resulting in accumulation of over, 22,000 files, 15 terabytes of data, and a persistent and automated ingestion of new data prepped for analytic or research applications.

Enterprise Dashboards (USMS)

Design and execute plan to create visual analytic dashboards offering the field timely and dynamic access to large & integrated data sources for operational planning, resource allocation, and operations.

  • Warrant Analytic Response Dashboard (WAR-D)

  • Foreign Nexus Dashboard (FNX)

  • Gang & Organized Crime Targeting Tools (GANG-WAR)

  • Missing Children Unit Dashboard (MISS-U)

  • National Sex Offender Registry Dashboard (NSOR+)

  • USMS Performance & Production Dashboards (U-PRODUCE)

Enforcement Operations Strategy (USMS)

Develop strategy and technology to identify optimal locations for USMS surge operations, as well as strategies to follow (i.e., Problem Oriented Policing & Focused Deterrence).

Investigation Systems & Tools (USMS)

Scalable solutions to complex and previously unsolvable investigations

Funding Intelligence Tool (OJP)

Visual analytic dashboard tracking geography, value, and content of more than 50,000 grants representing $36 billion in grants, training, and services by the Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. The tool facilitates planning, communication, and identification of gaps as well as overlapping grants between OJP agencies which may interfere with one another (e.g., NIJ and OJJDP running two randomized trials in the same city).
